What can our skin specialists do for you?
Warts and skin tags are forms of benign lesion that form on the skin. While skin tags occur as a result of the skin rubbing together, warts are a product of a virus known as HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) and can take months or years from the point of infection to reveal themselves. While neither lesion poses a health risk, because they can grow up to 1cm in diameter, and appear darker and more pronounced on the skin, many people who experience warts or skin tags elect to have them removed for aesthetic reasons.
Our wart and skin tag removal involves a procedure known as cryotherapy, where the skin is frozen using liquid nitrogen and the wart or skin tag is removed. It's a safe, simple and straightforward procedure that offers immediate results with very little, if any, aftercare.
