Hepatitis B vaccine

Hepatitis B vaccine is a vaccine that prevents hepatitis B. The immunisation is through a series of injections. Hepatisis B is a viral infection which affects the liver, causing it to become infected. Complications can develop rapidly such as developing yellow skin (jaundice), dark urine and tummy pains. The virus is transmitted through infected blood. Hence why certain jobs with increased risk of blood exposure are advised to be immunised.
